Zachary Ryan Zimmerman of Carlisle passed away on Aug. 29, 2012. Born at RAF Upper Heyford, England to Air Force parents, he lived most of his short life in Carlisle.
Zachary (or Zac as we know him) graduated from Carlisle High School in 2010 through the Yellow Breeches Educational Program. He was known for his uninhibited good nature, and his unique and unusual sense of humor. His family and friends will miss his quick wit, creativity, hilarious stories, impersonations and his ability to enliven any situation. Zac loved the outdoors. He especially loved fishing, hunting and trapping, riding horses and being in the woods. He was a talented musician, loved to cook and had the ability to excel at anything he had a passion for. Zac had a fondness for his little cousins and children in general. Known to some of them as the “funny guy,â€Â he could entertain them for hours.
Zachary is survived by his mother Lori Mulholland; his brother Brandon Shiposh and sister-in-law Betsy Bean Shiposh of Carlisle; his grandparents Donna Baker of Carlisle (his grandfather Robert Baker passed away in 2008) and grandfather Mitchell Mulholland and his step-grandmother Susan Mulholland, both of Leverett, Mass; his aunts and uncles, Coleen Russell, Mitchell Baker and Elizabeth Shunk of Carlisle, Judy and Dallas Rife of Newville, Trudy Dinges of Gardners, Christiane Mulholland of Leverett, Mass., Juliana Mulholland of Amherst, Mass., William Mulholland, Kathleen and Jack Rodhouse, and Sean and Donna Mulholland, all of Becket, Mass.; and his cousins Kelly Russell, Chloe Young, and Keith Calaman of Newville, Jared Cordero of Bendersville, Kyla Baker, Timothy, Evan, and Tracy Knizner of Carlisle, Scott Calaman and family of Miramar Beach, Fla., Krista Gonzalez and family of Shippensburg, William, Miranda, Anna Grace, and Abigail Rodhouse all of Pittsfield, Mass., John and Kim Rodhouse of Chandler, Ariz., Sean, Karen, Sarah and Mitchell Thomas Mulholland all of Lewisville, Texas, and his precious, loved kitty, Tulip of Carlisle.
Zac’s family would like to thank everyone who has and continues to offer support and love in their time of great need.
