William Stull "Bill" Walker

William Stull “Bill” Walker, age 66, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at his residence.
He was born April 25, 1951 in Carlisle to the late Kenneth R. Sr., and Louise R. (Chitti) Walker.
Bill was a 1969 graduate of Carlisle High School and and later attended Wilson College. He was currently employed at Dickinson College, formerly worked for ECSM and retired from Sprint after working 34 years in the engineering department. Bill enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and spending summers at Ocean City, MD eating Thrashers french fries. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather and will be sadly missed by many.
He is survived by: his wife of 45 years, Gloria (Miller) Walker of Carlisle; two sons, Travis (wife Sarah) Walker and Nicholas (wife Sara) Walker, both of Carlisle; five siblings, Malfada (husband Robert) Putt of Carlisle, Larry (wife Marcia) Violante of York, Kenneth (wife Cinda) Walker, Jr. of Bloserville, Joseph (wife Karen) Walker of Bloserville and Penny Wickard of Carlisle; six grandchildren, Bryce, Aidan, Cameron, Hadlee, Kayla and Paige; step-mother, Doris Walker of Carlisle; and sister-in-law, Jan Walker of Pittsburgh. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a sister, Kandace Lindsey and a brother, Stanley Walker.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018 at West Shore Evangelical Free Church, 1345 Williams Grove Road, Mechanicsburg, PA with Pastor Trent Thompson officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There will be a visitation on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA and at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services.
