William Robert Emerson Sr.

William Robert Emerson, Sr. known as (Bill), age 95, passed away, June 8, 2020 at Green Ridge Village, Senior Living Facility, Newville PA. Bill was born on May 17, 1925 in New York and was longtime resident of Bucks County, PA.
Surviving are his three children, Carol Emerson Raulston, and son in law, Randy, Texas, Joyce Emerson Cleary, Pennsylvania, William Robert Emerson, Jr., North Carolina. Grandson, Samuel Emerson Furda and step grandson, Zachary Chad-Wei Raulston, Texas. Twin brother, Barney Emerson, Indiana. Bill is also survived by his stepdaughter and caregiver, Joanne Bason Schlichtkrull, and husband Jerry, Newville PA.

Bill was preceded in death by the love of his life, Joan Bason along with the mother of his children Betty Emerson.

Bill retired from RCA/Sarnoff in Princeton, New Jersey after a forty plus year career as a research laboratory technician. As a former US Navy Sailor, Bill was a true American Patriot, who was very proud to have served alongside his brother, Barney in WWII, as combat veterans.

Bill will be laid to rest at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in PA.
