William G. Webb Sr.

William G. Webb Sr., 89, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community.

He was born July 6, 1933, in Baltimore, MD to the late Noble V. and Irma Anna (Schnibbe) Webb.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Leona C. Webb of Carlisle; two daughters, Laura E. (husband Brian) Gish of Carlisle and Nancy L. (husband Rodney) Crider of Lake Wales, FL; and three grandchildren, Holly L. Gish (husband Vincent Grourke) of Cranston, RI, Zachary W. Stewart of Humble, TX, and Nathan C. (wife Misty) Crider of Jacksonville, FL. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, William G. Webb Jr. and one sister, Betty Ruth Henry.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family at Mt. Zion Cemetery at Churchtown. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
