William F. Laatsch

It is with great sadness that the family of William “Bill” F. Laatsch, 62, announce his passing on January 15, 2019.
Bill, of Mechanicsburg, was born December 31, 1956 in Fort Atkinson, WI, to the late Gerald and Myrna (Suffel) Laatsch.
He graduated from East Pennsboro High School in 1975 and settled in Central Pennsylvania area where he worked in the printing industry until his retirement in 2017. Bill most enjoyed being with family, but was an avid football fan, music lover and passionate landscaper. He was known for his quick wit, mischievous smile and kind spirit.
Bill leaves loving memories to be cherished by his daughter, Ashlee (husband Shane) Bumgardner of Camp Hill, his son Chase Miller of Middletown, his brothers Gerald H. (wife Kim) Laatsch of Denver, CO and Christopher M. Laatsch of Mt. Joy, his grandson Abel Bumgardner on whom he doted. Bill bravely battled pancreatic cancer, ultimately succumbing to the same disease as his mother.
In following Bill’s wishes, services will be private.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013.
