William C. Swanseen

William Swanseen, loving husband, father and grandfather was born August 21, 1947 and died at his home in Carlisle, PA on August 14, 2013. William was also a resident of Venice, FL and was formerly of Linwood, NJ. William was a 1965 graduate of Mainland Regional High School and a 1970 graduate of Drexel University. Bill had a long career as an electrical engineer working for the F.A.A. at the William J. Hughes Technical Center.
William is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sandy Swanseen of Carlisle; two daughters, Kristen Owen (and husband, Jeremy) and Amy Knapp (and husband, Aaron) both of Carlisle; one son, David Swanseen (and wife, Emily) of Woodbury; one sister, Sandra Landis of Ohio; two brothers, David Swanseen (and wife, Vanessa) of Mifflinburg and Karl Swanseen (and wife, Debbie) of New Gretna, NJ; and six grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Timothy D. Wheeler officiating. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
