Wayne Edward Campbell, age 61 of Marysville, PA died on July 2, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital in Camp Hill, PA.
He was born in Carlisle, PA on June 17, 1954 to Charles Harrison Campbell, Sr., and Martha Mae Jones.
Wayne was a graduate of Carlisle High School. He was employed as a grinding wheel tester at Cincinnati Milacron in Carlisle, PA. Wayne loved cutting firewood, wood working and collecting junk. He liked to go hunting and helping with the West Perry Band Boosters. Wayne was a member at Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church in Shermansdale.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deborah Campbell of Marysville and their three children, Sarah Campbell of Marysville, Tanya Kaplan and husband Jason of Carlisle, Jessica Deetz and husband Dave, Jr., also of Marysville. Also surviving are grandchildren, Madison Deetz and Nevaeh Deetz, two brothers, Charles Harrison Campbell, Jr. (Butch) and his wife Shirley of Shermansdale and Dennis Campbell of Marysville and a sister, Kathy Barrick and husband John also of Marysville. Wayne is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church, 935 Windy Hill Road, Shermansdale, PA 17090 with the Reverend Karl Herman officiating. A viewing will be held Friday, July 10, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA and on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Shermansdale, PA.
