Wayne B. Cederlund

Wayne B. Cederlund, 74 years of age, of Carlisle died on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born in Worcester, MA on June 20, 1945 to the late Harry and Bertha L. Fife Cederlund.
Wayne was a retired Computer Operator from the U. S. Army War College. He honorably served his country with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. During his tenure at the Army War College, Wayne was instrumental in helping many of the retiring Colonel’s make their career paths in civilian life. Wayne was a former member of St. John Episcopal Church, Carlisle, a life member of the Carlisle VFW Post #477, Carlisle American Legion Post #101 and the Clan Mc Duff Society. Wayne enjoyed photography and was always interested in his family genealogy. His loving family meant the most to him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marcia J. Bell Cederlund of Carlisle, three sons; Wayne B., Jr. and his wife Ellen of New Bloomfield, Thomas H. of Cheyenne, WY, Ronald D. of Carlisle, four grandchildren; Sarah Cederlund and her husband David and their son, Brantley Michael Stough, Heather, Cora and Amanda Cederlund. He was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, PA. Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 noon till time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Wayne’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society 1180 W. Chocolate Ave., Hershey, PA 17036
