Waylon Elton Rowe

Waylon E. Rowe, age 37, of Carlisle, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 at his residence.
He was born June 13, 1979 to Lloyd A. Rowe of Blain, PA and Nancy C. (Killinger) Shields of Carlisle.
Waylon loved spending time with his gas powered RC cars and "his boys".
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Tylor and Jekobi; 10 siblings, April Hobble of Shermans Dale, Steven Rowe of Mechanicsburg, Crystal, Kyle, and Adam Rowe, all of Blain, Donnie Rowe of Mt. Holly Springs, Alicia Weibley of Newville, Dean (and wife Tara) Shields of Carlisle, Candy Gross of Wormleysburg and David (and wife Shawnitae) Shields of Newville; and paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Shirley Rowe. Waylon was preceded in death a son, Clayton Rowe; a sister, Leslie Weibley; Dad, Richard Shields; and maternal grandparents, Alvin and Grace Killinger.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Pastor Glenn H. Yohn officiating. Burial will be at Young's United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shermans Dale. There will be a viewing from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2016 at the funeral home and on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the services.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA 17013 to help defray the funeral expenses.
