Warren E. Plymale

Warren Edward Plymale, 73, of Carlisle, departed this earthly life Friday, July 14, 2023 at his residence.

Born in Endicott, New York, he was the son of the late Allen and Katrina (Harris) Plymale and the husband of 53 years to Laurie (Lee) Plymale.

Warren served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

He worked for 18 years for the Pennsylvania Dept. of Corrections, SCI Camp Hill.

What brought Warren joy was music. He played the guitar and could always be heard singing. He also loved taking care of the birds and being outdoors in nature.

Warren was a dedicated family man.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Lisa Faulkner, her husband, James Smart, of New Cumberland, Amy Laverty, of Carlisle; his son: Mark Plymale, of Carlisle; his granddaughter: Lindsey Faulkner, his two great grandchildren: Lyra and Grayson, as well as his sisters: Kathy Miner, of North Carolina, Ruth Current, her husband, Richard, of North Carolina and Dorie Tiel, her husband, Richard, of Washington.

He was preceded in death by his brother: Allen Plymale.

Relatives and friends are invited to his celebration of life service, 11 AM Friday, July 21, 2023 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle.

Interment will be held 11:30 AM Monday, July 24, 2023 at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
