Walter George Cave Jr.

Walter George Cave Jr., 78 passed away on December 10, 2024, at Holy Spirit Hospital with his family by his side.

Walter was born in Harrisburg, PA on Sunday August 11, 1946, to Walter G. Cave Sr. and Mary E. (Swartzbaugh) Cave.

He was a graduate of John Harris High School in Harrisburg, PA. A proud veteran, Walter served in the United States Army. He later worked for the United States Postal Service in Harrisburg, PA, where he retired after many years of dedicated service.

Walter enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including fishing, reading, watching TV, and movies. 

Walter is survived by his wife Bok Ye (Kong) Cave of Boiling Springs, a daughter Christine Shin and son-in-law Dong Kook Shin both of Endicott, NY. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Signor, and brother-in-law, Glenn Signor Sr. both of Enola, PA, along with a niece (Dawn Peskie) and nephew (Glenn Signor Jr.).

Viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 am on Thursday December 19, 2024, at Hoffman Funeral and Cremation 2020 W. Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013. Interment will be held on Thursday December 19, 2024, at 12:30 pm at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
