Vivian Warner

Vivian Lee Warner, 78, of Carlisle, died Friday, March 24, 2023 at UPMC Carlisle.

Born in Shermans Dale, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Cecelia (Bridge) Warner.

Vivian was a 1962 graduate of Perry Joint High School, New Bloomfield. She worked at Carlisle Tire and Rubber, Bethlehem Steel and retired after many years with the U.S. Postal Service.

Vivian was a very religious person and enjoyed going to Gospel concerts and shows as well as going to church.

She also enjoyed going to and watching Nascar races, roller skating, Hershey Park shows, community fairs and festivals and cats.

Vivian loved to taking cruises and travel, especially to Hawaii. She enjoyed family reunions and holiday parties at her brother’s home.

Surviving is her brother: Richard Warner, his wife, Rudis, of Florida and her sister: Pat Snyder, her husband, Larry, of Carlisle, as well as many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 12 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 11 a.m. Interment will follow the service in Youngs United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shermans Dale.
