Vivian Delores Sampson

Vivian Delores Sampson, 87, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT.
She was born January 2, 1931 in Carlisle.
Vivian was a member of The Salvation Army Women’s Ministries.
She is survived by two daughters, Tina Streck of Connecticut and Joyce Sampson (and companion Kirk Shank) of Carlisle; two sons, David Sampson of Gardners and William Sampson of Carlisle; one sister, Joyce Smith of Toland; six grandchildren, April White of Carlisle, Christopher W. Streck of Kentucky, Carrie Streck (and husband Sean Finnerian) of Rhode Island, Yvette Sampson of Mt. Holly Springs, Timothy Sampson of Carlisle and Dillon Sampson of Gardners; and 5 great-grandchildren. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, William Sampson and her parents.
A viewing will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at The Salvation Army, 20 E. Pomfret Street Carlisle, PA. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Captain Christopher Streck officiating. Burial will be at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013 to help defray the funeral costs.
