Virginia Mae Shover

Virginia Mae Shover age 93, of Carlisle passed away at her home on March 8, 2022. Virginia and her husband Charles shared 73 years together She was born January 6, 1929 in Newville, PA. daughter of the late Charles L. Swavely Sr. and Grace Bell Mixell.

She worked as a Laborer in the Manufacturing Industry before her retirement.

Virginia enjoyed making Quilts and Afghans for her family and friends.
She also enjoyed making patterns for crocheting which she made for her family.
Virginia will be fondly remembered by her Husband Charles and her family as a Loving, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who would do anything she could to help her Family and Friends.

Virginia is survived by her husband Charles of Carlisle, PA, Her children Susan McWilliams and her Husband Raymond of Minneola, FL., Cindy Lou Clyde of Carlisle, PA. her daughter Sharon Yuda and Her Husband (Mont) of Boiling Springs, PA, Linda Crouse and her Husband Steve Mechanicsburg, PA and Son J. Wesley Shover also of Carlisle, 14 Grandchildren, 22 great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great
Grandchild.
Virginia was preceded in death by her Son Charles Shover Jr, her Grandchildren Angie and Hailey Willow, her Brother Charles A. Swavely Jr. her Sisters Ruth Smee, Ethel Nailor, Florence Stum, and Arlene Hollenbaugh
