Virginia L. Mccoy

Virginia L. McCoy, 86, of Carlisle died Friday, October 18, 2013 at Manor Care Health Services, Carlisle.
Born December 27, 1926 in Athens, PA, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Helen Gerould French.
She was a graduate of Athens High School, Bedford. She was employed by the former Erie Frequency Rand Crystal Plant, Carlisle with twenty years of service. She was a member of the former Cavalry Road Church of God, Carlisle.
Surviving are one daughter, Connie Knotts (and husband, James B.) of Anderson, IN; one sister, Sylvia Rhoads of Lansdale; one daughter-in-law, Gloria McCoy of Carlisle; three grandchildren, Derek Stacy of Indiana, Jaime Perry (and husband, Danny) of Carlisle, and Krista McCoy of Carlisle. She was preceded in death by her son, Philip S. McCoy and her brother, Louis French.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
