Viona Nisley

Viona J. Nisley, 85, of Carlisle, died Sunday, March 10, 2024 in Fort Myers, Florida.

Born in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus and Ruth (Wrightstone) Keck and wife of the late Gary Nisley, who passed in 2012.

Viona was a former member of the Carlisle Moose #761, Carlisle Fraternal Order of Eagles #1299, Carlisle VFW Post 477 and the Carlisle Elks Lodge # 0578.

She is survived by her son: Douglas G. Nisley, of Florida, her daughter: Diane M. Henry, of Carlisle and her three grandchildren: Uriah Henry, Tressa Henry and Tanna Henry.

In addition to her husband and parents, Viona was preceded in death by her two sisters: Jacqueline Ballew and Donna Mae Gresham and her two brothers: Robert Keck and Richard Keck.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 11 am Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 10 am prior to the service. Interment will follow in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
