Timothy William Kenyon, of Carlisle, entered a Greater Life on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at his residence.
He was born February 25, 1940 in Cleveland, OH, the youngest son of the late Rev. Felix D. and Agnes V. Kenyon.
Tim attended South High School in Cleveland, OH and the Cuyahoga Community College. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. Tim retired from IBM Corp. as a manager in 1993 in Mechanicsburg, PA and in 2002 from the North American Van Lines Logistics Division as the Central Region Business Unit Manager. He was a member of the Carlisle Elks Lodge #578, Carlisle Fish and Game Association, National Rifle Association and loved playing the game of golf.
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joan M. Kenyon of Carlisle; four children, Timothy J. Kenyon of Mechanicsburg, Judy M. (husband Michael) McCauley of Woodstock, GA, Laurie Ann (husband David) Houston of Carlisle, and Bradley J. (wife Crystal) Kenyon of Lancaster; one sister, Dorothy Williams of Garfield Heights, OH; and four grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 8 brothers, Myron, Albert, Howard, Robert, Felix, Ira, Paul and Daniel Kenyon; and one sister, Betty Kenyon.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
