Timoth John Elijah Sweger

Timothy John Elijah Sweger, 58 a resident of Church of God Home, Carlisle and formerly of Perry County, died Thursday December 20, 2012 in the home.
Born July 14, 1954 in Carlisle, the son of the late Francis Isaiah and Faye Ellen Jane Darr Sweger.
Timothy was a 1972 graduate of West Perry High School. He was a former employee of International Harvester, Harrisburg and Keen Leasing, Carlisle as a mechanic. He also started a small motorcycle repair shop, cut firewood to sell and cut boards at his jointly owned sawmill. Tim enjoyed reloading shells, hunting, fishing, leather crafting, riding motorcycles and woodworking. He loved to play guitar, listen to Country music and attend hoedowns.
Surviving are a sister, Sandra Jane Darr Sweger Kitner and her husband Leroy, Shermans Dale, two daughters, Michele Sweger Sokoloski and her husband David, Shermans Dale and Nicole Sweger Snook and her husband John, New Bloomfield, seven grandchildren, Wesley, Hayley, Brady, Tyler, Logan, William and Tucker and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence Willard Sweger and Linus Francis James Sweger.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Saturday December 22, 2012 in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with the Rev. Bradley Moore officiating. There will be a viewing from 10:00 am Saturday until the time of the service in the funeral home.
