Thomas R. Roach

Thomas Ray "Tom" Roach, 75, passed away on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2021, with his family by his side. Tom is survived by his wife Karen Roach, his adored children- Celeste Rockwell, Zachary and Bailey Roach, Son-in-law Michael Rockwell, and granddaughter Morgan Rockwell.

Tom was born May 12, 1946, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Robert and Melba Roach.
Tom grew up in Walnut Park in St. Louis, later graduating from Beaumont High School. Tom attended Mckendree College, where he graduated with a business degree, and shortly after was drafted into the Vietnam War, where he proudly served his country. Upon his return, Tom's entrepreneurial spirit took hold. He took over his father's scale company until he started his first of many companies, Roach Equipment, working until he passed.

Tom met the love of his life, Karen Roach, in 1986, and they were quickly married on November 28, 1987. Tom's first son and arguably best friend, Zachary Roach, was born in 1988 and his little girl Bailey Roach in 1991. Those who knew Tom knew he loved his family dearly.

Tom loved spending time with his family and playing a round of golf or poker with friends. Tom was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and was a member of the Royal Arch Chapter 171 and Carlisle Lodge No. 260 as a Chaplain. Tom loved his time spent with his Masonic brothers. Those who were lucky enough to know Tom knew his smile, laugh, or jokes (primarily inappropriate) made any room he entered brighter. Tom had the biggest and softest heart and made anyone feel like family. His work ethic, loyalty, and deep love for family and friends will continue for generations.

The family invites those local to PA to attend the Masonic Funeral Service. A celebration of life will be held on January 29th at Jim & Deb’s Lakeside Pub in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri- more information to follow.
