Theresa Conklin, 86, of York, passed away on April 9th, 2025, at Pleasant Acres Rehab Center. Born on March 3rd, 1939, in Brooklyn, Theresa is the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Cunningham.
Theresa is survived by her sons, James Conklin of Virginia, Michael Conklin (Jan) of Indianapolis, Donald Conklin (Teri) of York, Gerard Conklin (Kenyon) of Reisterstown, MD, Corey Conklin of Beavertown, and her bonus son, James Martin. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and her 5 great-grandchildren.
Theresa is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William Conklin, her son, Edward Conklin, her siblings, and one granddaughter, Megan Conklin.
The youngest of nine children, Theresa grew up in Queens. She moved to Carlisle in 1981, where she spent 5 years before moving to Boiling Springs in 1986. She lived in Boiling Springs for about 30 years before moving to York in 2016.
Theresa had a passion for reading and word search puzzles. She was catholic and attended Saint Patrick Catholic Church for many years. She also loved her Yorkie, Zoey.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Highway, Carlisle, PA 17013.
