Thelma Moffitt

Thelma L. Moffitt, 86, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at UPMC Harrisburg.

Born in Lower Frankford Township, she was the daughter of the late Bryan and Edna (Nickel) Ensminger and the wife of 50 years to Herbert J. Moffitt.

Thelma worked as a Nurse at Carlisle Hospital, Alliance Home and Church of God Home. She loved taking care of people.

She enjoyed Conway Twitty and bluegrass music and babies.

In addition to her husband, Thelma is survived by her children: Don (Penny) Nace, Bob (Misty) Nace, Guy (Judy) Nace, Lisa (Scott) Hocker, Doug (Kim) Moffitt, Denyce (Dave) Etzweiler, Kevin (Kathy) Moffitt; her 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
