Terryl Lee Vitale

Terryl Lee Vitale, 60, of Carlisle, PA passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at UPMC Carlisle with her loving family by her side.

She was born November 13, 1962, in New York, New York to Theresa Elizabeth (Stangl)(husband Terry James) Pelton of Pine Bush, NY and the late John Monroe Schmitz.

Terryl was a loving, supportive wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Victor Vitale of Carlisle, PA; two children, Krystal Ross and Vito Vitale both of Carlisle, PA; five siblings, Darrin (wife Andrea) Schmitz of Sparrowbush, NY, Patricia Schmitz of Port Jervis, NY, Deanine Schmitz of Carlisle, Heather (husband Victor) Vargas of Pine Bush, NY, and TJ Pelton of Matamoras, PA; two grandchildren, Daniel and London; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her father, Terryl was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Maliyah Lewis.

A private funeral service will be held for Terryl’s family at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013. Private burial will follow in Letort Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the funeral home.
