Terry L. Statler, age 67, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015.
He was born on July 7, 1948 in Chambersburg to the late Harold and Mabel Houpt Statler.
Terry retired from Century Link as a manager in the cable department and currently was working with the PS Group, LLC in Florida. He was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle, a Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, a member of the Carlisle VFW, Post #477, the Carlisle American Legion, Post #101 and the NRA. Terry enjoyed hunting, riding horses and time spent with his loving family, especially his two grandchildren, Blake and Casey.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cindy E. Rhoads Statler of Carlisle; one son, Toby L. (and wife Susan) Statler of Carlisle; a daughter, Michelle L. (and husband Jesse) Bear of Carlisle; two brothers, Harold (and wife Sharon) Statler of Enola and Ronald (and wife Paulette) Statler of Carlisle; and two grandchildren, Blake and Casey Bear.
There will be a viewing from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA. Private interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA at the convenience of the family.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to UPMC-Cardio/Thoracic Transplant Division, 200 Lothrop St., Pittsburgh, PA 15213 or to Scleroderma Foundation, Delaware Valley Chapter, SFDV-385 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
