Terry L. Darr

Terry L. Darr, 54, of Carlisle, died May 31, 2012, in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.

Born Jan. 2, 1958, in Carlisle, the son of the Joyce E. Shughart Darr, Carlisle and the late Paul E. Darr.

Terry was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1299, Carlisle and American Legion Post 109, Mechanicsburg. He enjoyed shooting pool, cooking outdoors and camping. He loved his family and his grandkids.

In addition to his mother, Terry is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Weibley and her husband Jeffrey, Newville and Courtney Darr, Carlisle; two brothers, David E. Darr and his wife Susan, Carlisle and Jeff S. Darr and his wife Arleta, Carlisle; a sister, Kim L. Dixon, Carlisle; his companion, Tammy Shoemaker, Mechanicsburg; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tara Lynn Darr.

Services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, June 12, 2012 in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle with the Rev. Rick Robinson officiating. There will be a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. The family requests casual attire for the service.
