Sylvia Joanne Umberger-Gelbke

Sylvia Joanne Umberger-Gelbke, 86, of Camp Hill, died on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Golden Living Center West, Camp Hill.
She was born on November 16, 1928 in Wilkinsburg, PA to the late Herbert C. and Flossie May Midgley Umberger and was the widow of Robert C. Gelbke.
Jo graduated from Wilkinsburg High School in 1946 and attended Pittsburgh Art Institute for two years and later attended Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio. She was a former member of the Carlisle Country Club.
She is survived by a brother, Robert A. Umberger of Lotsenville, CA; a niece; several cousins; and her personal friend, Bert A. Bowen of Mechanicsburg.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill. Arrangements are being handled by Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 N. Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA 17013.
