Suzanne Uberti-Barnhart, 67, of Carlisle, passed on March 10th, 2025. Born October 24th, 1957, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Suzanne was one of four children. She spent a majority of her younger years in Philadelphia and then settled with her family in their forever home in Tom's River NJ. A favorite story Suzanne always shared was her cousins taking her to Woodstock when she was just 12 years old, and how crazy the experience was. Suzanne was a free spirit who loved classic rock, gardening, cooking, baking, and camping. The only thing that could rival her love for these things was the love she had in her heart for her children. There was nothing that she wouldn't do for any of her children or the friends they brought home with them. She was truly a mother to all.
In her free time, she would go on her classic weekend trips with her husband to different casinos or parks in their RV, having a great time playing the slots, always calling her sons to say how much she won, what fun she was having, and that she would allow them to buy something new that they needed when she won. She would then follow up with a list of questions about what they wanted from the grocery store she was near, and bringing home enough food to feed an army every Sunday when she got back from her trip. She was truly selfless and always wanted to be there for everyone and expected nothing in return. Her peaceful time to herself included sipping her coffee, watching Netflix on her phone, spending time with her cats, and laughing.
July 11th, 2022, brought a new purpose and joy to her life. This was the day Damian Uberti was born, the grandson who was down the road and she could spend almost every day with. Damian was her life, all she talked about, and was the new love of her life. She couldn't be away from him for even 1 minute without talking about him or taking his picture and sending it to everyone. She would spend her days playing trucks with him among other toys he had to show her. When the weather was nice, she would always take him to the park to play with his mom. When they got back, they would just sit, watch TV, and talk until it was time for her to go home. She will be deeply missed by her remaining family and by all the people she touched with her quick jokes and loving heart.
Suzanne is survived by her loving husband, James Barnhart, her sons, David Uberti and Anthony Uberti, her daughter in law, Petra Uberti, her grandson, Damian Uberti, her brother, Steve Brahn, her niece, Jessika Peterson, her nephew in law, Matthew Peterson, her great nephews, Jack Peterson, Duke Peterson, and Silas Peterson.
