Susan B. Myers

Susan B. Myers, age 70 of Carlisle, PA passed away surrounded by her family at the Mercy House in Chambersburg, PA on Saturday June 15, 2024. She was born on Thursday, July 23, 1953, to the late Rev. Eugene H. Snyder and Ruth M. (Haugh) Snyder having lived in Maryland and Pennsylvania and graduated high school from Cumberland Valley and college from Bloomsburg University.

Susan worked as a Medical Technologist for the Carlisle Hospital for 42 years. She was active in the choir at First United Church of Christ and a member of Old Bellaire Chapter #375, Order of the Eastern Star where she was a Past Worthy Matron.

She is survived by her husband Robert P. Myers and their daughter Kimberly (Adam) Lewis of King George, VA., two grandchildren: Madeline and Gabriella, a sister Christine (Daniel) Ardente of Franklinton, NC., a brother Kurt (Nancy) Snyder of Hope Mills, NC., brother-in-law Steven Shearer of Landisburg, PA; her nieces Amanda Ardente and Brittani Mittermeier, and nephews Adam Ardente and Luke Snyder.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 20th at First United Church of Christ with Rev. Wanda Veldman officiating. The family will receive visitors from 9:30-11:30 with the service beginning at noon and a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers the family asks you make a memorial donation to First United Church of Christ, Old Bellaire Chapter #375 (Order of the Eastern Star) or Project Share.
