Steven Lynn Black

Steven Lynn Black, 55, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022, at UPMC Carlisle.
He was born August 4, 1966, in Harrisburg to the late Jack Lynn Black and Sharon Lee (Henry) Dorsey.
Steven was a very passionate, affectionate man who showed his love to everyone in his life, especially his family. He was a very hard-working man who always provided for his family. He would always make himself available to help friends or family with home projects or car repairs. He honorably served his country in the US Army.
Steven is survived by the love of his life Kathron Brooke Black, to whom he was married for 30 years; four children, Paige (husband Andrew) Adams of Jersey Shore, Leah Black (partner Andrew Julian) of Enola, Lisa (husband Lucas) Cook of Florida, and Steven Black, Jr. of Shippensburg; six grandchildren, Trenton Black, Levi Black, Kennedy Adams, Kamryn Adams, Odesza Julian, and Odin Julian; and five siblings, Dana Jones, Kim Santin, Cathy Gallo, Jacee Over, and Angela Marshall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Lisa Adams.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Steven to the Disabled American Veterans, 4219 East Trindle Road Camp Hill, PA 17011.
