Stella Louise Smith

Stella Louise Smith, age 78, of Carlisle, PA died on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 in the UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born in Waynesboro, PA and was raised by the late William A. and Flora A. Downes Fraker.
Stella had retired from the former CH Masland Manufacturing Company after 32 years as an inspector. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, watching westerns on TV and art therapy coloring. Stella was very proud of her sister Diane who took care of her and enjoyed going to Diane’s family gatherings.
She is survived her foster sisters, Diane E. Harrold and her husband Dennis J. Potvin of Carlisle, Phyllis J. and her husband William Minnich of Mechanicsburg, two foster brothers, James E. and his wife Debra Fraker of Carlisle and Carl L. and his wife Janice Fraker of New Braunfels, Texas. Stella was also survived by several nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by a foster brother William L. Fraker
Services and burial will be held at the convenience of her family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Stella’s name may be made to Furry Friends Network P.O. Box 519 Boiling Springs, PA 17007.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory 2020 West Trindle Rd. Carlisle, PA 17013.
