Sierra Hockley

Sierra Marie Hockley, 25, of Gardners, died Monday, August 26, 2024.

Born in Carlisle, she was the daughter of James and Melissa (Morris) Hockley.

Sierra worked as a CNA at Chapel Pointe in Carlisle, starting her employment in the kitchen and working her way up to her current position.

She enjoyed driving her Jeep, especially to Hammonds Rock, and watching sunsets. Her friend-list was extensive and she touched many people in her short lifetime. Sierra also enjoyed going to concerts and hanging with her cat, Jasper.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother: Landin; her paternal grandmother: Helen (Memaw) Hockley, her husband, the late Robert "Jim" Hockley; her maternal grandmother: Kathy Hippenstell, her husband, Robert; her maternal grandfather: Greg Morris as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 7:00 pm Friday, September 6, 2024, at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where her family and friends will have the opportunity to share memories and stories about Sierra. A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 pm prior to the service.

Interment will be held privately.
