Shirley M. Richwine, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on May 13, 1935, she was the daughter of Luther and Lillian Tusing of Carlisle.

 Shirley shared a remarkable 65-year marriage with her husband, Lee Richwine Sr. Together, they built a legacy of love and family that will endure through generations. She is survived by her loving husband and their children: Lee Richwine Jr., married to Julie Richwine; Barry Richwine; Cherie Cooper, married to Craig Cooper; and Bryon Richwine, married to Kristina Richwine. Shirley was a proud and loving grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She worked for 22 years at Quaker Oats and was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

 Her life was a testament to the values of kindness, dedication, and family. She loved to bake, read, and spend time with her family. Her love for the holidays created many magical memories for her grandchildren. Shirley’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were privileged to know and love her.

 A public service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 10:30 am at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints, 216 Skyline Dr., Mechanicsburg. Her interment will take place at 2:00 pm the same day at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
