Shirley Kauffman

Shirley A. Kauffman, 87, of Carlisle, died Monday, December 11, 2023 at UPMC Carlisle.

Born in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Annie (Gutshall) Snyder and wife of the late Glenn Kauffman, who passed away in 2020.

Shirley worked for over 8 years in the cafeteria at Moreland Elementary School.

She enjoyed doing crafts and baking and being with family.

Shirley is survived by her son: Curtis E. Kauffman, his wife, Brenda, of Carlisle; her daughter: Charlene A. Kauffman, of Greencastle; her grandchildren: Heather and Alisha; her great grandchildren: Zachary, Lillianna and Jahlil as well as her brother: Edward Snyder.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Raymond and a sister: Annabelle.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 11 am Monday, December 18, 2023 at The Meeting House, 1155 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 10 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
