Shirley Irene Salisbury

Shirley Salisbury age 81, passed away on July 18, 2022 at her home in Carlisle, PA. she was the daughter of the late Martin and Kathryn Dietz (Duncan). Shirley was born September 14, 1940, in Donnelly Town, PA.
Shirley worked in the clothing industry as a seamstress before her retirement. Her family will remember her fondly as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family at their reunions and enjoyed joking with them.
She also enjoyed the outdoors where she would enjoy going camping and fishing with her family and her gardening. She also enjoyed baking and her crafts and enjoyed the time she spent with her pets.
Shirley is survived by her 3 children, her son Clyde and his wife Carole, daughter Jane Negley and her husband Danny, and daughter Cindy Beiler and her husband Jake. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, her brother George Deitz and sister Kathryn Rowe. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde who shared 55 years together before his death and her parents.
A celebration of life service in her honor will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory 2020 W. Trindle Rd Carlisle, PA with a visitation for family and friends held one hour prior to the services. Burial and Committal will take place immediately following the services at Westminster Cemetery in Carlisle, PA.
