Shirley Fay Mitchell

Shirley Fay Mitchell, age 78, of Landisburg, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg.
She was born August 2, 1938 in Cumberland County to the late Walter Jacob and Elsie (Moore) Kirkpatrick and was the widow of John Henry Mitchell. Shirley and John had been married 43 years.
Shirley formerly worked at Reeves Hoffman Crystal Plant in Carlisle. She enjoyed going to yard sales and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by: two daughters, Susan (and husband Merle) Bair of New Bloomfield and Linda K. (and husband Martin) Rock of Orrtanna; a son, Thomas A. Mitchell of Liverpool; grandsons, Cole Bair, Heath Rock and Floyd Rock; granddaughter, Tiffany (and husband Kenneth) Brower; and great-grandchildren, Katarina, Savannah and Robbie.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Alan Lane officiating. Burial will be at Westminster Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the services.
