Shirley Ann Keene, 53, of Landisburg died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at her home.
Born June 28, 1960 in Norfolk, VA, she was a daughter of Annette Miller Bennett and the late Peter Bennett, Sr.
Shirley was a US Army veteran serving in Germany. She received a Medical Assistant Certification from Bryman College and she worked as a Medical Assistant for several doctor's offices in the area. She loved to ride bikes and motor cycles and liked to read Steven King novels. She also liked to watch her Judge Judy and Judge Alex TV shows. She loved following Facebook.
Surviving in addition to her mother are husband of twenty-three years, Dennis Keene of Landisburg; one son, Stephen Winter of New Bloomfield; one daughter, Deneane Bennett Maziarka of Colorado Springs, CO; five grandchildren: Jade, Alex, Danielle, Lea, and Emma; one brother, Peter Bennett II of Jacksonville, FL; and two sisters, Elizabeth Bennett Rothermel of Carlisle and Darla Lawyer Tanaka of Roanoke, VA.
Memorial services were held privately and at the convenience of the family.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
