Shelvie J. Price

Shelvie J. Price, 79, of East Waterford, formerly of Boiling Springs, died Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at her son’s residence.

Born in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Wardney and Mary (Martin) Dove.

Shelvie loved being outdoors and playing cards, Yahtzee and doing crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed watching Days of Our Lives, starting when Rickey was born !

She also enjoyed listening to country music and had a special ear for certain Metallica songs.

But the thing that brought her the most joy was spending time with her family, which was everything to her.

Shelvie is survived by her children: Rickey Shoemaker, his girlfriend, Linda; John Shoemaker, his wife, Laura; Stephen Shoemaker, his girlfriend, Tina; Mary Barrick; August Price, her husband, James as well as her 21 grandchildren and her 26 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister: Janet Hershey.

The viewing Thursday evening (3/13) and service Friday morning (3/14) have been cancelled.
