Shawn M. Ross

Shawn M. Ross, age 44, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.

He was born October 1, 1972 in Carlisle to Roxanne (Fry) Ross of Carlisle and the late Thomas A. Ross.

Shawn was employed as a forklift operator for Allen Distribution Center, Carlisle. He loved hunting, fishing and video games, and most of all spending time with his loving family.

In addition to his mother, Shawn is survived by: a son, Brandon M. Ross of Boiling Springs; his fiancé, Heather L. Sheaffer; two daughters, Karter L. Ross and Cailee E. Sheaffer, both of Carlisle; a sister, Michele R. Strait of Mechanicsburg; a brother, Brian L. (and wife Jeannie) Ross of Newville; a niece, Brandy L. Strait; a nephew, Wayne L. Strait; and grandmother, Clarabelle Fry.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, with Rev. Richard L. Reese officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. The will be a visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 pm. until the time of the services.
