Shawn Lewis Newcomer

Shawn Lewis Newcomer, born November 5, 1961, went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2015. He passed away in his sleep from a heart attack at his home in Carlisle, PA. He was 53 years old.
Mr. Newcomer graduated from Boiling Springs High School in PA and he served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his two sons, Bradly Roadcap of Carlisle, PA, Jeremy Newcomer of Carlisle, PA, and a daughter, Caitlyn Newcomer of Jacksonville, NC. Also surviving are mother, Barbara Newcomer Cruickshank of South Charleston, WV, brother, Lowell Newcomer I of Carlisle, sister, Victoria Newcomer Cottrell of South Charleston, WV, and a twin sister, Dawn Newcomer Stoeffler of Raystown, PA. He had two young grandchildren, Bentley Matz and Liam Roadcap, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Shawn was preceded in death by his wife, Carol McGuire Newcomer, his father Lowell Newcomer, and his brother Thomas Newcomer.
His remains are being cared for by Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, PA and he will be put to rest at Floral Hills Cemetery in Sissonville, WV beside his father.
As per request, services will be held privately at a later date.
