Shailendra "Raj" Nagassar

Shailendra “Raj “Nagassar, a loving father, son, and husband died on February 13th, 2022 at the age of 45 peacefully in his sleep.

Raj is survived by his wife, Muskaan Gupta; his children, Mahek Nagassar, Shagun Gupta, Yuvraj Gupta Nagassar; his mother, Lita Nagassar and mother in law Kamini Gupta.

Raj was born in Trinidad and Tobago on November 1, 1976 to Bhem (Bhola) Nagassar and Lita Nagassar. He attended Seward Park High school and graduated at Binghamton University with a degree in buisness. On November 14, 2002 he met the love of his life Muskaan, On December 5, 2004 he welcomed his first daughter and bestfriend Mahek. On February 22, 2006 he welcomed his second daughter and his butterfly Shagun. And on May 20, 2009 he welcomed his beautiful first son Yuvraj.

Raj was full of life and loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved all his nieces and nephews and was considered everyone’s favourite uncle. He was passionate about being a DJ and cooking. He enjoyed music and movies and was always quick to make a joke. He was always there to add a helping hand. He gave great advice and was always willing to listen. Raj will truly be missed and was loved by many
