Sedina C. Lupfer

Sedina C. Lupfer, 61, of Harrisburg, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 21, 2023, while on vacation.

She was born September 19, 1962, in Carlisle to the late James E. Sr. and Rosalie (Marks) Asch.

Sedina was a 1980 graduate of Carlisle High School. In her younger years she was a very gifted bowler. Sedina was an avid reader and she loved people, especially children and the elderly. She was a former employee of YWCA Carlisle and Cumberland County and was employed as a housing management assistant at the US Army War College for the last 35 years.

Sedina is survived by one daughter, Nichole (husband Jeff) Burton of Enola; four grandchildren, Jackson, Brynlee, and Aubrey Burton and Jordan Lupfer; one brother, James E. (wife Judith) Asch Jr. of Pottsville; and one daughter-in-law, Tabitha Lupfer of Steelton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Brandon Lupfer earlier this year.

A memorial service celebrating Sedina's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013 with Pastor Steve Wilmert officiating.  Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sedina to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1999, Memphis, TN 38101.
