Sean Kevin Markel

Sean Kevin Markel, born October 25, 1980, passed away on November 30, 2016 at the age of 36 in York, Pennsylvania where he resided.
While all would argue that Sean's passing was much too early, he touched all those around him; especially children and the elderly, who always seemed to harbor a soft place in his heart.
He attended Boiling Springs High School and served his country for a period with the United States Marine Corps.
Sean is survived by his mother and step-father, Susan and Rick Hess; former partner, Olivia Mullin; daughters, Breyona, and Eilee; grandmother, Eileen Markel; step-mother, Nina Markel; uncle and aunt, Barry and Michelle Markel; brothers, Jason, Jordan, and Connor; and several other relations both local and abroad.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Markel, and son Jacob.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm, at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory– 2020 W. Trindle Rd. Carlisle, PA 17013.
