Scott Paul Yocum

Scott Paul Yocum, 64, of Newville and formerly of Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at his home.

He was born October 31, 1958, in Carlisle, to Carolyn A. Bowermaster of Newville and the late Robert R. Yocum who passed in 2012.

Scott was an avid fisherman who loved spending time outdoors. He honorably served his country in the US Air Force. Scott had a strong work ethic and enjoyed the work he did as a master plumber.

Scott is survived by one daughter, Courtney Yocum of Tennessee; one brother, Jeffrey R. (wife Gina) Yocum of Newville; and four nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Donald Bowermaster and his half-sister, Linda.

A private service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Scott to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, 6 Herndon Avenue Annapolis, MD 21403.
