Sarah A. Marston

Sarah A. Marston, 80, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at UPMC Carlisle.
She was born June 8, 1941, in Hazleton, Pennsylvania to the late Mark and Elizabeth (Heaney) Kelly, and was the widow of Kenneth Marston.
After she completed her studies and obtained the designation of Registered Nurse, Sarah dedicated a large part of her life to the nursing profession. She served in various capacities in both hospital and nursing home settings. Sarah was a woman of strong faith, and was a lifelong active member of Grace Baptist Church. She also was very interested in art and poetry and some of her works have been published.
She is survived by two sons, Jefferson (wife Jennifer) Pecora of West Melbourne, FL and Christopher Pecora; three brothers, Francis, Mark, and Larry Kelly; and four grandchildren, Anthony, Samuel, Rachel, and Matthew. In addition to her parents and husband, Sarah was preceded in death by a brother, John, and a granddaughter, Magdalyn.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021, at Grace Baptist Church, 777 West North Street Carlisle, PA 17013. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sarah to Grace Baptist Church, 777 West North Street Carlisle, PA 17013 or to Chapel Pointe at Carlisle, 770 South Hanover Street Carlisle, PA 17013.
