Sandra Lee Chronister

Sandra Lee Chronister, 75, of Newville, passed away peacefully with her loved ones at her side, Friday, January 18, 2013 at her home.
Born November 24, 1937 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth Cornman Miller.
She worked for GS Electric. She liked to do woodcraft painting, and doing jigsaw puzzles.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, John Clair Chronister of Newville, two daughters, Linda Swartz (and husband, Charles) of Carlisle and Janet Smith (and husband, Douglas) of Newville; two sons, Larry Chronister of Newville and Wayne Chronister of Carlisle; one brother Charles Miller (and wife, Elizabeth); two sisters, Beverly Williams of Shippensburg and Annette Lawyer of Carlisle; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia King.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle with Rev. Nancy Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
