Sahar S. Adawi

Sahar S. Adawi, age 57, of Carlisle, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at Cumberland Crossings.
She was born in Cairo, Egypt to the late Mohamed Salah Surhan and Gawhar Attia Mohamed Osmon.
Sahar was a project planner for BAE Systems, York, PA. She had a love for animals and looked forward to her trips to Starbucks. She was a very loving and caring person.
She is survived by four brothers, Ali, Mohamed, Didi and Radi Adawi; and her friends, Jenny Wilkins and Robin Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mona Adawi.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA. Burial will follow at Paxtang Cemetery, "Woods Edge", Harrisburg, PA. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
