Ryan Elizabeth (Myers) Howard, age 32, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous three-year battle with Lymphoma.

Born on Dec 29th 1991, Ryan grew up in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where she attended and graduated from Carlisle High School. Driven by her passion for helping others, and wanting to follow in her mother’s footsteps, she pursued a career in healthcare by studying Medical Assisting at McCann School of Business & Technology. Ryan began her professional career at Sadler Healthcare, where she quickly became known for her dedication and compassion toward her patients. She later worked for many years, until she became ill, with Dr. Alexander Spasic. There she formed lasting impressions with both her colleagues and the patients she cared for.

Ryan was the loving wife to Grant and proud to bear the title of “Army Wife” where she fully supported his call to serve our country. She was the mother to Jaedyn (12), Isaiah (9) and Harper (2). She was a devoted, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend.

She was the ultimate "boy mom," always supporting and loudly cheering on her sons in baseball and basketball. She took immense pride in every one of their sports and academic achievements. She faithfully attended every game and event that she could.

Having lost her mother to domestic violence, she was a fierce advocate for victims. She helped to establish the “Toni Clouse Sunflower Ball” which raised awareness and funds for the local women’s shelter. She always rooted for the underdog and couldn't stand to see anyone bullied or taken advantage of.

Ryan attended The Meeting House Church in Carlisle. Her faith in God was very important to her and she was committed to instilling those beliefs and teachings to her children.

Ryan was known for her vibrant spirit, kindness, strength, and sense of humor. She touched the lives of everyone she met with her compassion, positivity, and genuine care for others. always placing the needs of her loved ones above her own.

Despite the challenges she faced with losing her mother at an early age and her long illness, she remained a beacon of hope and positivity for those around her. She never complained. Her laughter, warmth, and wisdom will be deeply missed but forever cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

In addition to her husband and sons, she is survived by her brother Shea Myers and his wife Chambers, sister Jordyn Myers, Father Jeffrey Myers, Maternal grandparents James and Patricia Clouse and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
