Ruth C. Rought

Ruth C. Rought, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, May 12, 2012.
She was born September 13, 1921, to the late William W. and Catharine M. Fink, and is survived by her husband Harold, daughter Elesa and her husband Bob Kreiger, all of Carlisle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Bill, Frank and Joe Fink.
She was a member of Great Hope Baptist Church, and was known to all to be a strong and hard worker all her life. She was retired from the old Carlisle Hospital and loved her family and pets with all her heart.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, formerly known as the Old Stone Church Cemetery, 6839 Wertzville Road, Enola with Pastor Dale Barrick officiating. Viewing for friends and family will be held from10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Hoffman Roth Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover Street, Carlisle.
