Ruth Alee Mazza

Ruth Alee Mazza, 94, of Carlisle, died Monday, May 18, 2015 at Sarah Todd Home, Carlisle.
She was born in Summum, Illinois on October 9, 1920 to the late Jesse Layfette and Stella Belle Danner Kingery and was the widow of the late Anthony D. Mazza.
Ruth was a proud U.S. Army veteran having served during World War II. She received her Bachelor's Degree while living in Illinois and taught third grade at St. Patrick School in Carlisle.
She is survived by three children, James A. (and wife Helen) Mazza of Oregon, Deborah S. (and husband Steven) Girton of Carlisle and Pamela A. (and husband Richard) Kotz of Harrisburg; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, A. Donald Mazza and Phil Mazza.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
