Russell J. Lackey

Russell J. Lackey, 76, of Carlisle, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in his home.
He was born March 5, 1942 in Carlisle to the late Glenn A. and Dorothy (Chamberlain) Lackey.
Russ was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and was a talented cook. He was a 1960 graduate of Carlisle High School and always looked forward to his class reunions. Russell retired from Piezo Crystal as the Vice President of Quality Control after many years of employment.
He is survived by one daughter, Amber J. (husband Jonathan) Baker of Elizabethtown, KY; three grandchildren, Danny, David and Sara Baker all of Elizabethtown, KY and his former wife, Carol L. Trundle of Elizabethtown, KY. In addition to his parents, Russ was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Eberts.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA with Rev. Michael R. Poe officiating. Burial will follow in Letort United Methodist Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory to help defray funeral expenses.
