Roy Lee Shearer

Roy Shearer – 04/24/1952 – 07/15/2023

Roy passed away peacefully on July 15th, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Katherine Shearer (Bosler) of Carlisle and his brother, George Shearer of Havelock, NC.

Roy is survived by his two sons, Jason Shearer of Nex Oxford, PA and Scott Shearer of Etters, PA, his two granddaughters, Kayln Shearer of Carlisle, and Emma Shearer of Etters, his 5 nephews, Shorty, Robert, Terry, Rodger, and Matt Shearer of NC and PA as well as his companion, Debra Johnson of Carlisle.

Roy was a volunteer firefighter in Carlisle many years ago. He drove the ambulance for the Carlisle Hospital and worked for Ritner Steel for many years.

Roy enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, his dogs, and watching old Western Movies. He was funny, caring, giving, and loved helping others.

There will be no services per Roy’s wishes.
